Tried Berts Bees and he smelled like a wet noddle after! Tried Natural baby organics and that smells like a strong perfume (even though it says frgrance free) Would like something fragrance free or at least smells good.
Go with Johnson & Johnson, they are the best

I am trying to make baby shower soap molds the easiest way I can.
you can, but you need to grate it up and add water to it, I would recommend microwaving it a few seconds at a time though — instead of grating the soap you could purchase ivory's laundry detergent, and add small amounts of water to it till it its mold-able and press into your molds
If not then where is the cheapest place to find them?
Where can I buy the melt and pour bars or can you make your own somehow?
probably not - craft stores - and consider the candy and candle molds, too for fun/different mini soaps
is it possible to make liquid soap out of the left overs of a heap of toilet soaps ,adding glycerine and the like?
toilet soap?
I have been making my own handmade natural soap for many years now and am looking to start a soap making business any help or suggestions welcome.
if you have a local farmers market, i would start there, or flea markets, maybe online… there are sooo many different ways you can start and make money to hopefully open your own shop! good luck!
Many sites abut soap making emphasized the need to purchase a soap base. But is it possible as well to melt down regular store bought bars of soap such as Irish Springs to mold a more interesting soap? I could grate it first to make soap chips and then melt it using a double boiler method. Could this work?
Hobby stores carry soap reshaping kits. so much fun!!:-)
I want to go into the soap making business. I've been doing research on the internet and have order some books being that I'm a beginner and have no experience. My quesiton is what method should I use? I've read about melt and pour and cold process and hot process but I'm not sure which one is best for a small business. I want to sell other things besides soap such as bath and body products jewelry, and candles. I'm a beginner to everything so I need all the help I can get. Any advice would be appriciated.
I love cold processed soap too.
Before you dive head on into a home based business, make sure you read up on each oil and how it can affect the skin.
Also do all your pricing; cost of goods, equipment, business licence, your government tax forms, cost of setting up a professional website, cost of getting someone to list your site on search engines, getting your company name copywritten…
Start small, and work your way up.
If you start big - not knowing what you're doing - you could end up losing big…
I am thinking about starting a soap and candle home based business. I need some good recipes. Any advices or links to good recipes? I will be doing this full time.
Thanks!

I love my homemade soap but it seems it doesn't last as long as store bought, synthetic stuff. What can I do to make it last longer? Experienced soap makers only please.
I tried to look up justalin as one person suggested but did not get anything soap related
which oils are you using, too much olive oil content seems to make it too soft and melt away quicker. i use a combo of about 1/2 lard 1/4 veg oil or olive, and 1/4 coconut oil, and in about 10 days, i have some nice hard long lasting soap
