   sure you can . check on what to use as a release so the soap comes out . They may be an odd shape , but you can scrape the edges and smooth them.

   rubber soap molds will give you a better shape , especially if you are making little soap shapes.

   This is a Yes and No question.

   Yes, you can use muffin tins, but only if you are making glycerin soap.

   The rubber soap molds are designed to give you designer soap. If you want to make round soap out of glycerin…go ahead and use muffin tin. It is also a safe for children to do.

   To release the soap when you are done, you would only have to dip the bottom of the muffin tin into hot water to loosen it up. The soap will just fall out.

   No, you cannot use a muffin tin if you are making old fashion soap with lye, it will eat away aluminum, galvanized metal , zinc and etch copper pans. Ordinary glass would break from the heat of the chemical reaction.

   Making lye soap is not child friendly and one needs to make safety precautions and use proper equipment.
